At 11 am, I was on the road in heavy traffic heading into Boston. I would say that the Spirit came over me, but somehow, I was lifted by the Spirit, with almost a weightless feeling. I asked, over the road noise, “What are you saying to me, Lord?”
At that moment, a truck pulling a large camper trailer passed on the left. As the back of the trailer moved slowly ahead of me, I read the name: “Cherokee.”
Immediately the Lord said:
Name them, as you have before.
A chill ran over my skin, because He was talking about the Trail of Tears message from January 2022[1]. I began to say their names: “Sioux, Cherokee, Paiute, Shoshone, Pawnee, Arapaho, Penobscot, Apache, Cheyenne, Crow, Iroquois, Mohican, Nez Pierce, Pueblo, Seminole, …” I could sense my voice trailing off as I realized – again – how many tribes there were, how many people. He interrupted my thinking:
They were tribes, people who loved me, called me Great Spirit, but they were not a united nation. Consider the decree[2], and what evil befell the lands that became your nation. Consider that an evil, corrupt government could have come into being in such a short time. A foul thing calling itself a legitimate government that drove out tribes, drove them to their deaths.
Yes, child, I heard every cry, saved every tear.
Remember what I have told you about tactics being even this day. Your enemies today – the very same ones as then – know no bounds or rules of warfare except to kill and destroy by any means they can.
You are in battle! You must ‘keep your wits about you’ (you would say), for you are commanded to keep your armor on and your weapons sharp. Attack forward. Full spectrum.
