Yesterday (Sunday) I was mowing the lawn, completely absorbed in the heat and grassy dust of a very warm Fall afternoon. ‘Not much like football weather, Lord.’ I had just spoken these words over the sound of the mower when I heard the Lord answer.

Undefeated.

I stopped for a moment, the mower still running. “Oh yes you are, Lord …” I started, but He continued.

Hear Me, child, and consider what you think of as ‘undefeated.’

16 and 0? What about 100 and zero? 100,000 to nothing?

I stood still, trying to expand my consciousness into His realm of the Spirit, and my mind was staggered by the scale of His very being, and the uncountable wars and attacks that He has experienced.

That’s right, you can’t even begin to know the magnitude, but I assure you it is millions, millions of victories, small and large, over all enemies, and

I AM UNDEFEATED.
