An open vision during 5am prayer call

We were all praying in tongues when I began to go into a vision. I was suddenly present in the gathering of a vast army. There were rows and rows of soldiers and horses in long lines, stretching further than I could see.

To my right, raised above the army was a great lion. My eyes seemed to re-focus, and I knew it was The Lion. He was holding a huge banner or battle flag high in the wind so that all could see. I heard Him speaking:

            In battle we communicate, we signal with these.

He waved the banner to and fro.

            Now know this: I am your signal, I am your banner, and you will always be able to see these signals through fog or smoke, in light or dark.

Suddenly everything became pitch-dark, but He continued speaking:

            Yet even in what you may think is complete darkness, see!

There was at first a single pinprick of light, and as my eyes calibrated, the darkness was actually full of sparkling lights, and they were each a banner, a signal, and we could all read them and understand the messages.

            Even in silence I signal for you and My banner is heard, My signals clear.

I could hear sounds – strange, beautiful chords – and suddenly the darkness vanished. There was the Great Lion over the assembled army, holding his brilliant banner aloft. My heart leaps: It is Jehovah Nissi!

Just as suddenly, I was returned to our prayers and the vision snapped to a close.
