A night of fractured sleep, so I am awake very early, and finally out with Luke in the pre-dawn light. In the stillness there is only the sound of my shoes crunching along, step by step, when He says simply:

            Stay close to Me, tuck in, stay very close.

Psalm 91:4 tells us:

He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
