Standing next to horses quietly eating hay, there is a silence which has a smooth texture to it, as though it’s tickling my ears. The Lord begins to speak, and I realize that what my ears just felt was the gentle flick of angel wings, getting my full attention.

            There is so much being spoken of warfare, child. Listen, for I want you to understand something: All your ‘lessons learned’ from what you call kinetic warfare, or even your ‘psyops’ or information warfare are critical. Yet they take you only so far. As you read my scriptures, as you hear prophetic voices or pastors teaching about warring in the Spirit, that fighting remains abstract to many. I have heard you say it is unrestricted warfare with no rules of engagement, and that is so.

            As you struggle to articulate concepts of sight and vision, hearing and understanding, so many struggle to grasp the wicked subtlety of an enemy that continuously lies, wheedles, confuses, cheats, subverts, infiltrates – yes, kills, steals and destroys your bodies and souls.

            You draw parallels with sports and competition of all sorts – and I love the competitive playful spirit within you all – yet in this warfare there is no agreed-upon field of play, nothing is out-of-bounds, there are no penalties, no time-outs, no stoppage of play to recover your dead and wounded. There is such complete deception of so many, that your dead and wounded are lied about.
