Words about vision

Tuesday 11 October 2022

The Lord is pressing on me some understanding of vision, sight, observation and coming up higher for a better view. “Look at Me, not the world,” is our command. Jesus tells us to keep our eyes on him and walk on water. This is about all our senses, but it starts with our eyes, our ‘seeing’, and that’s why it is so critical to get inside God’s vision now. When the coming darkness overtakes us, even for a while, we will blink over into a spiritual spectrum, much like we switch to UV or infra-red.

“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:22-23)

Our sight seems so limited that we can’t (won’t, don’t) see the other side of our pain anger, heartache, fear, rejection, unbelief. As I write those words in my notebook, I remember what the Lord spoke to me some weeks ago, having lifted me up to show me a glimpse of the earth in its complete roundness, brilliant blue, strewn with shock-white clouds:

Consider, my child, that no matter how high above the earth you rise, you can only see one side of it. You see directly in front of you, for that is how I made you. Yet I see the entire earth, at all times, at every instant of what you call time. I see everything beneath the sea, child, and everything within the earth itself.

There is a pause for me to be in awe of my God whose eyes see every inch of this existence, my God for whom there is no up nor down, no north nor south, no time in which he is not fully aware of everything.

Yes, my child, and I see the other sides of you.

Yesterday he continued this enlightenment of our vision, our sight:

Consider the sight, the vision of my eagles, my soaring birds.

Judith and I had a bald eagle fly directly over us on Friday, and this afternoon I am watching ospreys over the water, hawks over the marsh and grass.

How do you describe their “eyesight?” Consider the “resolution” of their beautiful eyes that can see a mouse in the grass, while they soar on high.

I made those eyes, so consider, child what I see and sense: everything.

Yet what is the range and limit of your “detectability”? Consider what you can and cannot sense in the physical, chemical, electrical domain.

That is why I made My Spirit to be in you and why you seek vision, discernment, wisdom, understanding, salvation forgiveness and love, as well as what your five senses tell you.

Consider, child, that you can see people and things; Can you see your nation? You, my ocean-loving child, what is the temperature and salinity of your nation? Has it lost its saltiness?

When you think big – for I know your thoughts, child, you think of a nation in unified prayer, fasting, worship, connection with Me, seeking Me and My direction. Yet you ask, “How can this happen, Lord? For whom will they all listen to?”

Prepare your hearts, children, for changes in the incremental, tsunamis of oceans and shaking of nations.
