Change is coming, and we take You at Your word

Thursday 7 September 2023

After intercessory prayer time, I am out with Luke. It is warm and humid, and I am in beautiful still peace, and You tell me:

            You are safe.

I revel in that for a long while, just walking with Luke, and there is one more word:

Yes, change is coming, its very near.

In my spirit I know this: To be on-watch for the Lord is to be strong, alert, eyes open, sharp, clear, and focused.

“Be thou my vision, Lord. Keep me vigilant, prepared, perceptive, steady and steadfast, diligent.”

As I am getting in the truck, I see a number on a passing car: 447.

Psalm 44:7 says: “…but you give us victory over our enemies,
you put our adversaries to shame.”

Isaiah 44:7 says: “   Who then is like me? Let him proclaim it.
Let him declare and lay out before me
what has happened since I established my ancient people,
and what is yet to come—
yes, let them foretell what will come.”

John 4:47 says: “…When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea,
he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was
                                    close to death.”

I read on further to verse 50.

““Go,” Jesus replied, “your son will live.”
The man took Jesus at his word and departed.”
                                    [emphasis mine]

“Yes, Lord: We take you at your Word. Thank you and Amen.”
