4:30 am, and the sky is just barely lightening. The moment I am awake, the Lord whispers:

            The Battle is Joined.

A chill runs over me, because I know that it is “go” time. I am on the beach at 5:30 with Luke, repeating this verse from Psalm 91:

ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.

“Lord, steel my heart, check my armor. Put me in position, and I will stand and fight.”
