Tropical dreams

Dream recall:

We were operational, on some sort of a mission with a crew of people, Judith was there and other people I recognized, had worked with but couldn’t completely identify. The whole crew had flown into a semi-tropical area, it was warm and humid, with palm trees and other large, broad-leaved plants.

I was not carrying a briefcase because we were being very low-key, so I had everything in a plastic bag with handles, including 15 or 20 thousand dollars in cash (that we needed for the mission). As we got to some customs-like setting I realized that the money had been stolen from the bag, and no one would help, and there was no one (officially) to report to, and everyone at the airport or customs place – in a resort-like setting – simply said “There’s nothing we can do. You have to move along.”

We were on the mission because there was someone or something we were supposed to get to and get out of this place. When I realized that the money had been stolen, I nearly screamed in maddening frustration and anger at the loss and corruption and total lack of justice or concern. The whole team had to move on, no matter what.

We found ourselves in a large, low white building, and some bad people had come in with a huge long snake, which stretched out and slept on a carpet in a long hall. We knew we had to kill it, so drew knives out and approached, but it was already dead and turning gray – because an angel had touched it on the forehead and killed it.

It was extremely warm and tropical as we moved outside and headed off to another village, moving along muddy roads and rocky ravines with guzzling water running down.
