Dream recall about Biden and Obama

Tuesday 8 November 2022

In the first scene, I saw Biden holding some paper but unable to speak. The background was clouded and indistinct. His whole countenance seemed to sag, as though he simply shut down. All circuitry simply went down. There was a hushed moment of silence and then a buzz from those around him. But he had resigned himself to what happened and began to shuffle off to be dealt with.

I then found myself walking one of our dogs (Snowy, the Lakeland terrier) over a green, tree-lined landscape. We were going to a compound where Obama was. There was some security at a gate, but we were not stopped, they simply said “The only thing you can’t do is go in the duck pond.” Yet by the time they were done saying this, Snowy had already shot past everyone and dove into the pond, scattering the ducks, everyone laughing at her antics.

I found Obama sitting in the sun, in a large open garage bay, holding a controller in his lap, directing Biden and many other things. I stood directly in front of him, he was looking up at me, and I said, “You must stop all this right now.” He smiled broadly at me and started to say words about ‘… not really doing anything here …’ but his voice faded off as he immediately began to grow weaker by the moment. He was visibly getting older every second, his face growing grey and weak. He stopped what he was doing and put the controller down on the ground beside him.

Some people close by lifted him out of his seat and put him in a chair with small wheels. I stepped behind it and began to push him out of the building. The large overhead door closed behind us as we started away. What had been green landscape all around quickly became like a desert as I wheeled him along; it was extremely hot and dry. Obama was withering by the moment, wincing under the blinding light and heat of the sun. We had not gone much further when the path became a small track of sand and rock, and when we came to some small scrub brush, I knew to leave him there to his judgement.

I found myself leaving that place, leaving the countryside, driving into a city, checking the maps for routes to the airport, heading homeward along with crowds of travelers.
