Dream recall:
Crystal-clear dreams of Navy ships, treason, warfare, and winning a battle. There was a technical investigation, and then a Courts Martial. Admirals had to appear to testify, in their dress whites. I was there to have one-on-one discussions with the admirals for the technical details of what happened – but why were they wearing their dress whites? Is that appropriate? I cannot remember my formal officer’s protocol or dress code for such things. The courts martial conclude, traitors convicted and sent away. Then some scenes of being presented with awards, rewards, mementos for the investigations.
The dream scene shifted to what had happened to trigger the courts martial. I watched horrifying visions (at-sea) of a stolen, compromised warship turning its guns on an American ship, lowering the guns almost horizontal and blasting it at close range. There were direct hits and explosions, but the gunfire did not sink the American ship.
Then the scene transitioned again to change of command ceremonies, with admirals retiring, transitioning command – all on the good side.
