I am at home, in early morning connection with our Global Watch family, praying: “Our very earthly world is noisy, clouded, jagged, stinky, distasteful. Lift our five ‘senses’ high above, that we should live in Glory. Grant us, Lord, the ‘senses’ of your creatures, to see in the dark, to see in the water, to run effortlessly over rough ground, to sniff out good foods and safe places … “
God asks me a question, shocking me almost out-of-body like, as though I’m at the beach, with Luke
What do you see, My son, when you stand on the shore and look at the ocean?
“I see waves, and swells, birds flying low, soaring high, skittering on the sand. I see blue and green and white spray…”
Yes, we have spoken of my birds, my winged creatures, and their power and grace and sight.
Consider, child, My creatures of the Waters, the seas, child, consider, for you cannot see them, hear them, yet the waters teem with life, MY LIFE. As true this is in the earth, the soil. Remember your limited ranges of sight, of hearing. Speak of this.
